In my prior example, I used DISM to install the SSU. I don't think the SSU was necessary because we are moving away from having SSUs. So installing KB4577063 is probably all that is needed to get to 19041.541 or 19042.541.
If one is offered then it needs to be installed and we're not moving away from SSUs at all, they probably will be bundled with the LCU (or the info only): https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-525#post-1617308
19042.508 they were saying final now 19041.541 insider . beta ? i think i will wait to Oct 13 to make sure
Anyone having an issue integrating the 20H2 enablement package into the install.wim and running a cleanup-image? cleanup-image gives me an error saying "could not be completed due to pending operations."
No, not when you've started from a 19041.1 image, pending could be set by any fod enabling. In 19042.450 IP ISOs, the 20H2 EP has the install pending stated, though But these are my integration logs, using W10UI: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-520#post-1616310 The 20H2 EP is integrated after running the cleanup commands.

We will eventually have ONE package. I'm not thinking that package will be called an SSU update or that it will even be listed as a separate update. So the thinking is that the term SSU may vanish and that the term LCU may remain. We shall see what this package is eventually called and how it is listed as an update.
