Are there any notable "gotchas" in the current set of updates for IoT Enterprise 2021? Did that previous problem with VPN connections get resolved at some point? Is there an issue with installing/updating drivers as mentioned in a post a couple of pages back?
IoT Enterprise is not something special it is just the same as Enterprise, only when it is LTSC it is something different.
OK, fair enough, but the question was about the updates. Are there currently any known issues or problems with any updates from the last few months that I should be aware of?
Your LCU 4842 update is available on Uupdump only for 19045, yet it works under LTSC 2021 . 19044 And here we are in 19044.4842
I have questions please. I only need default updates to integrade inside LTSC(IoT). This is my first time to work with W10UI and i want to know how to create simply integradet default updated 2021 LTSC ISO. Please, what shoud i remove or download? For example only with LCU or plus NDP481 Base? Thanks to everybody in advance!
Yes i follow the video. Do i need windows10.0-kb5020683 (OOBE update) ? Also the problem one update KB5034441. Edit: i think KB5034441 is not needed because it is in LCU. @Enthousiast Please just take a look the updates in my list. Are they ok to go ? KB5020683 OOBE or KB5026037 Out Of Box Experience (OOBE) Update to remove. And i'm sorry for wrong thread.
@Teknik I integrate these updates in my 22h2 iso: SSU LCU 22H2 EP .NET 4.8.1 .NET 4.8.1 LCU Setup DU SafeOS DU Defender cab
Please read carefully. And when using W10UI you can just throw in all updates from the overview, it will skip the 22H2 EP anyway when LTSC ISO is source ISO.
I hope this is the right place for my question: I'm on Windows Home Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.4780) and would like to upgrade to the latest Windows 10 LTSC. However, I understand that this is not possible and LTSC requires a clean install when coming from a non-LTSC version. Therefore the closest alternative would be Windows Enterprise. From this post by Enthousiast https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/discussion-windows-10-final-build-19041-19045-pc-20h1-22h2-vb_release.80763/page-157#post-1601562 it seems there are 3 ways to upgrade from Windows Home to another version: 1. Using Generic HWID Key then activate (using established HWID key or KMS_VL_ALL) 2. Using gVLK (then activate using KMS_VL_ALL?) 3. By ISO (I have the ISO for en-us_windows_10_business_editions_version_22h2_updated_aug_2024_x64_dvd_633dcd07) However, only method 2 (gVLK) is mentioned for a Home -> Enterprise upgrade. I would like to know: 1. Can I upgrade from Home to Enterprise using ISO and then activate by KMS? 2. Do I need to disconnect from the Internet before doing so? 3. I did a Test Run of running Setup.exe on the ISO without disconnecting from the Internet and received a message saying that I cannot retain my apps and settings and only personal files can be saved. Is there any way around this?
nope, you can upgrade in a second using registry edit or modded upgrade matrix ltsc 2021 = 19041, and your 19045 build is 19041 as well so no problems here change your edition to Pro using MAS first (try it without internet connection if it doesn't work) and then it's trivial to upgrade to ltsc
