The list of Known Issues is just to big too use this 15002 and 15007... :-/ must be too much rum and eggnog.
Windows 10 Build 15007 Stuck In 0% It is infuriate to say the least. The upgrade of Windows 10 Build 15007 Windows Update Delivery Optimization 'progress bar' stuck in 0% for almost a day for me and it is not getting better after all known fixes have been applied. Does anybody have a working fix yet?
I don't really know what is wrong with the Windows Update. I think this issue deserves a separate thread for those who have similar trouble so that they can easily reach for a fix if there is any.
It's a beta and all night people are mentioning it and some have posted a solution which works (and i don't mean prosto )
I see my 'method' worked for him too... try going my path, if it works for you too, it should work for everyone . Try this:
What is baffling about this issue is that it comes in two forms. For those who are able to at least download it after applying any of fixes (downloading lasting several hours) stuck in 100% and those who are stuck in the initial 0% just remain there. I am one of those in the latter. I have tried all fixes I could find but yielded no fruitful result. I don't really know what to do. I hope you understand my frustration with the Windows Update issue.
I have done that before posting the thread, sir! There are several fixes out there that work for some people and don't work for others. It is a very troubling case though.
My testupgrade got stuck on 100% for 1.5 hour and the downloadfolder was just 3.16MB (xml files only), did the troubleshoot and reboot to be sure, it took 10minutes and then it download the real files and upgraded (all info and screens are at the 15007 thread).
I followed the troubleshooting method for the first time I experienced the problem and it reported issue with 'Potential Windows Update Database Error Detected'. Later on I restarted the system and run the troubleshooting again only to be running for like forever and keep coming with the same problem before trying other fixes. Seriously, I don't think there is anything out there on Google or Bing Search that I haven't tried.
I did not apply any fixes or run a troubleshoot. I just rebooted after it hangs at 100%. And at the beginning ( 0% ) I break and did a reboot again. Then after waiting for some time it continues. It could be that - because I get fed up - I rebooted more than once. Maybe there's a worldwide phone-home DDoS against MS telemetry servers from "Windows Update Delivery Optimization" process which tries to send back all the update telemetry data .
I like how you fixed the problem. Also, A DDoS against MS's telemetry servers is actually a great idea. Why didn't I think of that?
