Yes, they did, but that's not enough, a PC release is missing, right? EDIT 1: BTW, I don't care about Windows Phone, my Microsoft Lumia 950 XL was abandoned, I don't care about it anymore. EDIT 2: Now using Android phone... Now using iOS phone...
The simple question was why Dona said: "done flighting builds this week", without releasing one, i answered that they did release a build for mobile this week.
You don't need to explain yourself, I understood you. I was just waiting for a PC build this week, that's all.
I deleted some off topic comments. Please keep the threads clean. If you want to debate political issues, please do so via PM and in a friendly manner.
This build just gets worse. It took an effort to get here and what have I got? PDFs that wont' display correctly on a 4k monitor. ISOs that won't mount, MP3s that won't play.... This is with a capital B
I am not getting none of those. It could be that you need to do clean install (if you haven't done that yet ) or perhaps something is wrong somewhere with the upgrade.
If you're really feeling adventurous, try Edge out. The Zoom and PDF bugs are the least annoying. I'm getting copy/paste bugs with delayed paste and random mouse lockups on paste attempts. Once mouse and keyboard locked up and had to reset PC. This is on clean install.
Unfortunately this was a clean install, the 4k monitor problem is mentioned in the known issus. I was using Edge to display the PDFs but not only can it not do that properly the zoom level on websites makes it unusable as a browser.
i dont get ms with UUP they can make it much smaller with svf and easier now what i need to dl 6giga to make iso of 3giga ?
1. SVF can't upgrade the system. 2. You don't have to download 6GB for a 3GB iso, the single index UUP folder is appr. 2.6GB in size. Single index Pro x64 en-US UUP files: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...view-build-16215-pc.74473/page-2#post-1351485
1. sorry i didnt understand that how svf is relate to upgrade system ? and also when downloading from illegible source as form of ISO it make it 3giga with all the indexes those pro..esd enter...esd all have same files same data can be make as base.esd and with svf change it to all different edition quickly 2. yes but those zip are all together
1. SVF is for extracting an iso, by using a source iso + svf patch, UUP is WU download. 2. The UUP zips contain all edition specific files, including all edition specific .esd files (core, pro, cloud, etcetc...), they are 350-400MB a piece and add up increasing the zip size a lot. The AiO iso's you refer to are smaller because the indexes in it just increase the total size of the install.wim a little bit.
then they should make base.iso with svf for each version and leave MUI download normally or make two patch from Base_En.ISO to any edition_En.ISO Base_En.ISO to Base_XX.ISO and then Base_XX to any edition or make multi.esd with all the edition will save 90% space and all the mui in form of wim not cabs at same file also will save alot
They don't use svf, it's not msft software. They make multi esd's, for official builds, not for Insider Previews. UUP's are small and it works fine for its purpose. MSFT even frequently releases Insider iso's.
