    IP builds are for testing, so testing for changes in the activation system might make sense for some :g:.

    I agree there's no obvious need though :D.

    so this is fast ring + skip ahead?
    how fix that when i change i get some red letters and go back to normal windows next version..thanks

    Or manually:

    • Open the settings -> Update & Security -> Insider
    • Change to „Skip ahead to the next release“
    • Do not close the settings.
    • Win + R, regedit and enter
    • Go to the path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability
    • On the right side: Doubleclick on ContentTyp and change Active to Skip
    • Change Ring to WIS to WIF
    • Restart.
