I ´ve used this ESD-WIM7 tool!! I got install.esd, but don´t know how to convert THIS install.esd to .iso....
I really don't get what you are doing. If what you said is true and you've downloaded the UUP files by using WU (or even by one of the UUPDL tools), you only had to point the UUP>ISO tool to the UUP downloadfolder and converted them to ISO and you have an ISO.
My install using WU went smooth & is running very well. I just checked my ASUS Z170M-E D3 audio drivers specs., sure enough it has Realtek ALC887-VD2 ... High Definition Audio CODEC. *I am totally able to play a MP4 & have good sound on this install.
Mine is a ASUS m5A78l-M USB3 and has the VIA HD audio and I have no audio with FireFox, Mozilla Nightly Build, players within IE and even sometimes with IE I have no audio.. I know they are aware of this issue, my question is, If they know this, why would they send out this build with this problem?? Bill
seems a lot of users are experiencing this bug, including me, and sadly there is nothing we can do, except stay in 17025 until Microsoft fix the issue or somebody found a workaround.
Right (Microsoft provides only Core and Professional UUPs). I'm using Enterprise Insider Preview, but Windows Update doesn't download a necessary uup file (Enterprise_en-us.esd), so updating to 17063 is impossible so far. I guess Microsoft has it, so I wonder there's a way to download this file....then I could build iso file. I posted in Microsoft support, but no progress. Any idea?
uhm I mentioned it a minute ago in feedback hub. It would be useful if you go there and up-vote the feedback... who knows maybe they read it
After 5 GSODs at my Thinkpad P51, Intel Core i7-7700HQ, 2.8 Ghz, DDR4-2400-32Gb, I've ported this system to my 2nd, old Thinkpad R500 and without any problem have upgraded 17046->17063. Then ported upgraded system backward, merged with DISM driver packages from 16299 and successfully booted 17063. In my case it appeared that fingerprint scanner driver from 17046 is INCOMPATIBLE with 17063 as an attempt to install this driver results in GSOD. But this is MY case for MY hardware and a real code producing GSODs - is deep inside nucleous.

The sound bug in Firefox seems to be fixed ,at least for me on Firefox nightly build. (Fixed after an update)
