[DISCUSSION] Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17760.1 (PC) [FAST Current - RS5_release]

I read in other forums that may be due to the themes (not in all cases), Settings-Personalization-themes, change the theme to "Windows".

 

I have done that and its still the same.

 

i right click on desktop / personalize / colors / Dark

 

Done that on clean install in vmware on build 17760 and is still the same.

 

It would be nice to see ms really clean this dark mode up and maybe give the option in oobe to set dark theme like apple has with mojave.

 

@ambidav could it be because of this? I only have that problem when I open it with a shortcut pointing to:

doesn't show that problem.

 

Its still the same for me both ways.. there should not be a problem at all considering RTM is just round the corner, And other people too are having the same issue

Oke upgraded from 17758.1 and there is a difference in staging after reboot it now only has 2 stages for upgrading like stage 1 goes up to 64 % and stage 2 goes to 100 % me like normaly it was 3 stages ! and btw it was realy fast so I don't know what they did but I like it

 

If I remember correctly, even 17134.1 have 2 stages 1-75% and the rest process.

Looking forward for RTM release. Darker explorer will be nice.
Also, they probably didn't change "delete program" a much since they are planning it to remove... someday, mayбe

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18237.1000 (PC) [FAST SKIP - RS_Prerelease] ?

Microsoft and UI polish do not go well together

BTW since past few builds, Windows will spontaneously restart randomly when installing a device driver manually without prompting.

It’s one of those cute little bugs which cuddle with you and give the familiar warmth!

17760.1 - RS5_Release = Preview build of the Windows 10 Update landing this Fall.
18237.1000 - RS_Prerelease = Preview build of the Windows 10 Update landing next year in Spring.

So if you want the build that is showing you the latest in the world of Windows, go with the RS_Prerelease builds.

Because it has to be Insider build and currently it 17761.1.
