Upgrading from Pro to Pro for Workstation only changes the label and maybe gives you the ability to format in the ReFS file system but you won't get the advanced hardware features like better RAM Management and support for more CPUs Do a clean install or upgrade from Home to Pro for Workstation to have the actual upgrade with all the bells and whistles. Notice that when you do the upgrade from Pro to Pro for Workstation through the store, it doesn't do anything or even ask you to reboot, it happens instantly, that's just changing the label. When upgrading from Home to Pro for Workstation it does some work, you see a percentage for the upgrade, then the machine reboots

Sorry, i didn't know that. Is there a really easy tutorial how to create a clean W10 ProWS ISO with DISM? (I like to do things myself.) I already tried it but i don't even know where i can get a WIM file from ...
There was a step-by-step tutorial by @Enthousiast but can't find it now (maybe he can help with this). Some info and a little tool is in the link he mentions in the post above yours.

It's the install.wim or install.esd present in any Windows ISO file, the latter needs to be converted into WIM to be able to maintain it.
Btw, i tested imageX command line and it did the flags and index name and description. GimageX is not really needed
Correct. I don't use it either, although I do have it. I have a nice little program that will convert install.wim to any allowable SKU. Wrote it myself!
The new Windows Updates KB4048951 & KB4048955 still don't install on Windows 10 Pro for Workstations. I don't know what is Microsoft smoking!
