I tried using a Win10 Pro key also (on 'S' 15063 non n) & got stuck in Win10 Pro also w/ the same 'Device Guard' problem even after several restarts. No Windows.old folder & in Restore no going back to previous OS button. My last test was installing VMware tools, now I just get a black screen even tho VMware says they are installed. I noticed BA has announced they added to their FTP: 10.0.16215.1000.rs_prerelease.170603-1840_amd64fre_client-cloud_retail_en-gb 10.0.16215.1000.rs_prerelease.170603-1840_amd64fre_client-cloudn_retail_en-gb & 10.0.16215.1000.rs_prerelease.170603-1840_x86fre_client-cloud_retail_en-gb 10.0.16215.1000.rs_prerelease.170603-1840_x86fre_client-cloudn_retail_en-gb
Here are two serial numbers for those that want to get the images (SurfaceLaptop_BMR_11_8.199.0.zip, 5.3GB) Surface Laptop - 020155171857 (SurfacePro_BMR_15_2.177.0.zip, 6.8GB) Surface Pro - 019365471753
if pro is still limited, you can try to delete the tokens.dat and let spp rebuild it. after the next restart it should work like normal pro. (i guess) Ah, you don't need to select the device, just the serial is enough. WinRT: 039019624352
Try the results of multiple combinations. Surface Studio Code: SN: 000182364058 SurfaceStudio_BMR_15_4.31.0.zip - Windows 10 Version 1607 SurfaceStudio_BMR_15_5.15.0.zip - Windows 10 Version 1703 Surface Book Code: SN: 000123171857 SurfaceBook_BMR_155_7.214.0.zip - Windows 10 Version 1607 SurfaceBook_BMR_155_10.17.0.zip - Windows 10 Version 1703
So, I've download the recovery image from MS site and made a usb boot disc with it. When I reboot there is a recovery screen, not the usual install screen. Is there a way to test this usb boot on virtual machine?
That's the problem, I really don't know yet. I managed to download and make a USB installation stick with the files, but after the reboot, there is a recovery screen, not the install screen that we are used to. I'll try to get an old notebook and test if it is possible to install it.
It may be (usable) for those that used a Pro key on their 'S' OS & got stuck in Pro w/o any way to get back to 'S'? I think I'll just wait for the next release (beta) from MS & register w/ my MS account & hoping I can get into the Insider for that OS.
@Himitsu @MrG If you want to install the SKU, then grab 15063 (or newer IP builds) UUP packs & convert them manually.
If I'm off topic, please let me know, thank you. My question is about reimaging: I created a partition image using W7 provided in W10, made the repair disk in the process, the probleme is that whenever I try to use the created image via "restore" I have no control over both keyboard and mouse (both usb) when I get to the restore options menu (blue/white) page. Can you please help ?
There is a sticky 15063 thread https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...date-final-15063-pc.73650/page-2#post-1328969
@Enthousiast Thanks but I don't need the enUS one. I need the exact packages for make the Spanish ISO. Anyway I'll try it
It's the same as with the insider builds, use LostED's UUP files, he posted them in all languages in the 15063 thread: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ate-final-15063-pc.73650/page-30#post-1330266 EDIT: got called away, Cloud (S) is en-US/en-GB only it seems.
I tried it but I needed to download Cloud enUS.esd and when I insert the Spanish language pack and features, it gives me an error.
You would need Cloud_es-es.esd and that doesn't exist, see my edit at the previous post. What you can try is to go the W10MUI route, create the en-US Cloud iso/wims and integrate the es-es language files.
Yeah I thought that too. I'll try it. I'm finishing downloading Wzor files because with the LostED's one I have always an error and it's strange. I'll try with Wzor. Thanks @Enthousiast
