What irks the crap out of me is everyone ogling the "new" interface as if this is the "real" improvement or lack of innovation (depending on how you see it) in Windows 10. Is this not a technical form for F*&K sake? Then why is everyone stuck on looking at the new pixels and not at the new features or upgrade processes or volume license management or security options? Heck read the "for business" blog http: //blogs.windows.com/business/2014/09/30/introducing-windows-10-for-business/ for things that really interest me about windows 10. I couldn't give a rats F5ck about a new start menu or lack their of. Also the reason we see NT kernel versions in the 6.x range is because a lot of software would blow up if it saw a 7.X or higher number (even if it could run on it) so due to peoples software coding Microsoft hasn't gone above that number as of yet for compatibility.
Garbage opinion noted and discarded. If you don't care about the re-introduction of a native start menu, you're probably not a power user and won't understand why functionality matters to those of us who are.
I've already posted in a different thread that if the activation rumors are true, this is the fairest Windows ever released (provided that they don't make any further demand than the initial purchase; SCROO DAT if they're going to ask for a recurring subscription be paid).
