yes, I like when you fresh install and during oobe setup "sit back and relax while the magic happens"
I tried to install more current version but ran into some errors. Now i'm trying Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC over Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC. Now it's saying I can't keep my files and programs because it's a different version. Is there any way to upgrade windows while keeping my programs and applications?
Please don't post the same questions in multiple threads: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...2024-24h2-26100-x.88280/page-185#post-1913698
I posted in relation to each thread's link offering whether it was a tool I used or a build version I downloaded from each thread. How should I have handled this?
Tthis multiple posting without any of the other answers is a bit confusing. Pleas keep it at the original place, there was just one link and that was to the upgradematrix thread post #3 and OP. and you started the questioning in the 2024 LTSC thread i answered you in the other thread.
ok. I was trying to not confuse with one version with another. They all don't work anyway. Neither does the tool.
So seems this doesnt work after installing 26200.8524 Vivetool /disable /id:47205210 to disable the new start menu?
Microsoft has likely removed the ViveTool toggle and fully rolled out the new Start menu UI. It now appears enabled by default for all users, including 24H2 and LTSC Why this happened: 1. New features are introduced and initially tested through A/B testing "Gradual Release". Only a portion of users see them at first, while others don't. 2. Insider builds or tools like ViveTool can force-enable or disable these features while they're still in testing. 3. Once a feature is considered stable, Microsoft removes the A/B toggle and permanently integrates it into Windows for everyone. Now the Start menu has likely completed that testing phase after several months and is now fully baked into the OS, which is why the ViveTool ID no longer works.
