Man I bet Microsoft is right now collecting lots of telemetry from these public 21996 installs. I guess they need this feedback before actually "officially" releasing Windows 11 for testing.
I did a very quick and dirty test with my own apply scripts, even used all my reg tweaks and unattend files, just to see if it would work (and which messages I would get when it didn't). I got a message that the specialize section of my unattend file could not be applied. Does anyone know what changed in that regard? ENTST, thanks for your usenet upload!

... the point I was trying to make is: If you open a thread - at the very least support it This particular thread has seriously kicked off in the last few days, and has (for some reason) attracted a lot of n......., who can't be bothered to read the thread ... but just (1st, 2nd 14th etc post) request links... (you obviously have a lot more patience than me) DRIVES ME NUTS
I installed Windows 11 & it runs very well in Hyper-V on a Windows 10 x64 host. No problems at all besides having to give-up my MS account email, PW & make a pin # up.
My opinion ---- > This is just another microsoft fraud . In the mean time i installed it on a 14 G USB stick . It took about 1.5 hours useing rufus . The setup took about 5 minutes . My opinion = Its windows ten with a linux / mac style ....... a few things are moved , have rounded corners , the start menue has gone , the task manager is not where it was , the task bar doesnt have small icons anymore = The only thing i see are cheep and nasty cosmetic changes to make it look more like linux and mac . It can be edited with NTlite = Its win 10 . It can be edited witjh DISM ++ = Its win 10 It can be activated with win10 kms / HWID activation = Its win 10 . It uses the same drivers !!! = Its win 10 It has win 10 kernel = Its win 10 The only good thing i see is that its less cluttered .
reinventing the round edges and other aspects of previous windows systems, lol funny stuff, but with all that telemetry and privacy concerning crap kinda dont care.
