For AMD systems it's called fTPM.

 

Before installing Windows 11, create a reg file that is then copied to a USB stick.


Bypass TPM and SecureBoot when installing Windows 11 on unsupported hardware During installation press Shift+F10, open registry and create key LabConfig under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup "BypassTPMCheck"=dword:00000001 "BypassSecureBootCheck"=dword:00000001

 

Requiring TPM, virtualization or raising x86 baseline i can understand, but cutting off Summit, Raven, Skylake and Kabylake is purely artificial lock as supported Pinnacle, Picasso and Coffeelake don't offer anything extra in this context.
Same uarch ISA wise, with same security features.

I checked stores, some had TPM modules for $10 yesterday, today they are for $30 and ebay/amazon offers are at $300, lol, you can buy a new motherboard with TPM for that. 11 sure spiked prices, no one cared about TPM till they announced it.

 

Henry/itsk still claims some in stock for ~10€, also if that CPU whitelist is going to get enforced there is hardly any point buying them as all the supported platforms offer fTPM 2.0 anyway.

 

If anyone joined Insider (real not with the script) can share this registry, i can see if any modification required

... all joking aside, why are you guys so pre-occupied with Secure Boot and TPM 2.0...
not required for Custom installations, easily bypassed

... only required for new (OEM) distributions (M$ requirements - to guarantee secure OS - mostly for business purposes - covering their @@@es)

I have a 1st generation AMD Threadripper, Secure boot disabled. TPM disabled and running "Hybrid OS'

 

Any Idea What Time Windows 11 Build 22000 Insider Build Releases Tomorrow ?

 

Normally MS releases Insider Builds and CU Updates at 5PM UTC

 

Why post this in multiple threads ?

It's out when it is released...jeez!

 

I cant wait someone to hack that stupid HW check program.
