AFAIK, not necessary. You are the first who said about that since I posted this option No complains here so far
See here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...2024-24h2-26100-x.88280/page-120#post-1859557 One more plus: installation process won't be interrupted because of unsupported hardware if any. With this method you perform installation of the IoT edition but IoT doesn"t check the hardware requirements during an installation process.
What are the reasons NOT to update a machine to this from W10 LTSC? I'm primarily thinking privacy concerns, funny as that sounds, yet it only ever gets worse with "compliments" from telaviv. Along with other reasons.
Firstly, there is an opportunity to translate the site into about 300 languages. Secondly, I pointed to the site just as an example to show who m0nkrus is. This is an ordinary warez site, in principle, there is nothing more interesting there. Generally speaking, I was not going to raise my question again here since I already received an answer to it. Personally I would advise you to listen less to the nonsense that Mark Rutte talks.
Hello, I would like know, inherently, are there any security challenges to run "IoT Enterprise LTSC" as main Desktop or Laptop OS, as compared to standard "Pro" installation? Just for discussion and learning purpose, I see front facia are the same in both. Yes, in case of IoT ENT LTSC, I see those additional security features present in the Windows Security Center, like Core Isolation, reputation based security, browser security (potential harmful app blocks, etc) are disabled but one can turn them on But would like to know if any other backend security stuff is coming disabled? Which aren't being shown in the Windows Security Center of such? If this question has been asked and discussed multiple times, please provide the link so that I can read. Thanks.
(IoT) Enterprise 202x LTSC is just enterprise with the LTSC (long term servicing) added and no pre-installed UWP apps, good to use on main systems.
@Moderators/board/wayne is it possible to purge all: - m$store - uwp/modernapps/appx - m365/o365 account posts off of this topic?
Thank you, works perfectly. Is there any way to tell the dism to use an autounattend file while applying the image so that OOBE could be automated and bypassed ?
Are there that many posts with those topics that need to be purged? Adding store and UWP apps to LTSC is a legit topic )although that will undo some of the pro's for using LTSC), O365 posts taking over here?
