What you do there (and in convos/DM) doesn't matter to us. But, please avoid showing info about Homebrew ISOs (or even the links) in public topics, here. No arguing, it's the rules, plain and simple. Again, of course it takes a bit of time to create your own ISO, but at least you know what's in it. No surprises.
I can't do much with those logs, mentioning what build your on, the used installation ISO (how it's made), what updates you are installing by what method (readable screens) and so on, that would help to assess for starters.
-mentioning what build your on = Windows 24H2 -the used installation ISO (how it's made) = Windows IoT added languages with the tools from MDL -what updates you are installing by what method = W10UI latest, Till March update, no issues, April update, all problems. DISM from ADK... What could be wrong?
Adding languages is not my favorite method, just install Enterprise 2024 LTSC in your language and switch to IoT Enterprise 2024 LTSC (or do it at forehand, offline method) With 26100 MSFT introduced a lot of weird stuff that can happen. In my opinion adding languages is useful till MSFT releases ISOs in all 38 languages.
no one can answer that without full details but this is a very unnecessary step which could lead to a lot of unexpected issues
Would it mean that complete packages references are dead ? Is it possible to reinstall individual packages as Microsoft-OneCore-Http-Package...
You can download non-IoT edition with your preferred display language, update it to the latest build via W10UI or Win_ISO_Patching_Scripts, create bootable media and install OS as described here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...2024-24h2-26100-x.88280/page-120#post-1859557 Thus you can avoid any issues the language integrating and unsupported HW (if any) related to.
I tried to clean-install Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 (Build - 26100.1742) on one machine but it always fails right at the beginning of the actual installation (5%, "Windows 11 Installation has failed".). It is an older system (ASRock B150M Pro4S/D3) Intel 1151 (LGA1151), 120 GB SATA-SSD. Anyone has an idea, where the problem is? I moved the sources-folder to a second partition on that install-stick, only boot.wim is in the sources-folder on the first partition. That shouldn't be the problem, at least it never was for me in the past. Win10 IoT installs without a problem.
It should be supported: Code: Instruction Set Extensions IntelĀ® SSE4.1, IntelĀ® SSE4.2 But i doubt you will be happy when you got it to run any 24H2 SKU. You can try Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT (v5.1f Released!!!) not specially for the fixes but the Diskpart & Apply image option, this skips the official setup and applies the image directly to the drive. Personally i would just run (IoT) Enterprise 2021 LTSC and enjoy it for a few years.
Win11 installs fine on older systems, are you sure the problem is not the installation media you are using?
I am not! But I only did what I always do. If install.wim doesn't fit, I move the folder on a second partition. Maybe this doesn't work here? Is there an easy solution to that problem, some tutorial is needed, not an expert at all on this stuff.
