Yes - Check this post for updates: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1830860 - Procedure is the same as here but with the 24H2 updates and source ISO: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1571109 (bottom of the post) Will make a similar tutorial for 24H2 soon, when the fog is cleared in my head... Yes.
Thanks one last thing if I may, I'd like the IoT version so if I just use the key like it says on this post (https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-2024-24h2-26100-x.88280/page-19#post-1837912) will I retain the Italian version and the automatic renewal activation?
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1833792 Changing the it-IT LTSC ISO to IoT LTSC should work without problems.
I'm currently running Win10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 21H2 and I haven't changed any hardware so I don't know, I'm about to format and then use your command after a clean install hoping the activation will work and will not be temporary, if something goes wrong I'll let you know, thanks again.
EDIT: All went well the only downside is that some of my drivers don't have Windows 11 versions since my hardware is pretty old but the ones I used before are still working.
Just successfully built a win11 iot enterprise ltsc 26200 25H2 iso which loaded up no problem in hyper-v. W10UI and uupdump, amazing tools. Thanks Enthousiast for this pointer. Reminds me of old nLite (Nuhi) after it fell off 15 or so years ago. Currently run Win11 Pro, and after updating to 25H2 last month, trying to keep up with disabling this and that, just not workable. I'd really like to go with w10 iot ent, but apparently can't run Adobe stuff. Taking the leap with this built iso for my main rig.
@joncl1, does Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 25H2 have system requirements checks before installation?
It is not a real upgrade and specially not for LTSC. there won't be new feature upgrades on LTSC. Setup is still 24H2 and even on 25H2 setup is still 24H2, 25H2 is just a bump in numbers in the registry in this scenario.
I'm confused about the OOBE updates. Does KB5050575-x64 apply only to 24H2 and KB5071430-x64 only to 25H2? I'm currently in doubt if i should integrate both in my 24h2 iot image. Cheers.
I'm back on the main rig. Complete backup, wipe, and reinstall. Went smoooth. There were no system requirement checks that I can recall. Without network connected, created a local account just in OOBE gui. Easy. As for 25H2, I heard it's just cosmetic, but honestly I'm not knowledged enough on the topic, so I just grabbled the 25H2 updates off uupdump because they're there and it was something to try. Took an hour to build, but it loaded perfect in hyper-v, so went for it. I can say that so far, windows 11 iot ltsc is definitely much lighter and more responsive compared to win pro 25H2 I had before. Btw, I opted to try for no MS Store, just winget. However, ran into a dependency version issue with winget install. I was getting old versions of VCLibs, but found a workaround (which is to get the files off store.rg-adguard.net, but can't post my notes with links yet, lol).
Yup, finally got a working IOT image, with nothing broken. So much s**t in LTSC now also. Hard testing under Proxmox, but looks good
