I searched 20 pages deep in either direction and didn't see anything for Windows LTSC Arm. Does that exist, or do I need to go the retail route?
And only to show your friends that you run 26H2 IOT Enterprise 2024 LTSC without any real benefits, which are not really present since 24H2 was first released. It already is known that MSFT, for reasons unknown, now included the LTSC SKUs for the 25H2 and 26H2 EKB, and it doesn't bring anything other then what i wrote above.
Is there any stable KB update for LTSC 2024 that you guys could recommend? The thing is I'm still on 26100.2033 from October 8, 2024 and I have been following various tech channels on YouTube which reports that Windows Updates have been a broken mess. I'm about to re-install and update my machines later this fall but don't want to be stuck with a broken update. 26100.2033 have been quite stable but is quite old by now. Also in case you wonder I have been using Windows Update Blocker all this time just to stop worry about unstable updates.
I'm fully up to date (26100.9278) and haven't had any problems. However, I should mention that I don't play games or use many apps. What I'm saying is that, in my opinion, stability depends on what you use, not on Windows updates. So when asking these kinds of questions, it would be helpful to provide information about what you plan to do.
Well, 3 of the machines is used for everyday use which means no special stuff. And the 4th machine is used as an offline gaming PC (older PC Games and emulation) So to summarize, very minimal everyday use with some gaming. EDIT: Also I hope they don't add AI stuff in the updates for LTSC because that is the reason I have been holding off a bit. EDIT 2: Seriously, the update is 5376.4 MB! Oh my god, that's insane. The .2033 update is only around ~500mb
Thanks, I ended up downloading 26100.9168 from August 11 which were a patch Tuesday release (non preview or out of band release) and I read the description of 26100.9278 that they would remove the use for WMIC altogether even FoD so I feared I couldn't even use it even with the FoD files I got. Unfortunately I read something about 9168 that it could be issues with gaming/certain games on this update but seeing as I only use emulators and PC games before 2013 I figured I'd be fine with it.
