i am using win11 IOT LTSC 2H2 No copilot but after manual update to 26100.712 i got copilot and worked well
Yes, I know. For converting needs to input an appropriate generic key... Or MAS will do it for you...
Why debatable - I tested only in civilization 6 and other similar game on my laptop without dedicated graphics. This is subjective, this test result in two games which I play only.
I test only in two games, that I play. I dislike long computer turn time, this test is subjective only in those two games. I don't need other test for me
hi im running this version 26100.1 that i found here somewhere earlier, now this wont allow me to update to latest as it would fail the install. do i need to do a fresh install for latest and would this latest version allow future updates later on?(ik things are unknown at this early stage but still does it seems like even a few updates may be possible from the w11 ltsc ava. as of today?)
My personally, I hate Copilot and other I don't like it what MS put some s**t on it.. Just plain OS able run it.. Simple that.. I had tested base on ASUS motherboard BM85-M with Xenon (4core, 4 threads) = 8 total and 32GB ram.. NO TPM, alot weed out before installation.. I am finally test on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 (24H2) and never had 1 bit trouble and Disabled Copilot... and test cross network platform network on Windows 2022 STD Servers and NAS without any problems! I got a question and this is something I'm really curious about. How come IoT LTSC is more popular to install then regular LTSC? What are the benefits of this specific version? When I think IoT I think of home appliances connected to internet running this kind of Windows version. Do regular programs work? I have never run IoT LTSC, only regular LTSC so you'll have to excuse me for my insufficient knowledge. Have a good day and thank you in advance!
Thank you, I don't fully understand why those things makes IoT LTSC the clear winner but I'm going to find out why today by installing it in a VM.
For me regular LTSC is better then IoT LTSC. I tried IoT LTSC but could not remove edge even though i am in eu region and disabling recommended section in start with gpo also didn't work. In regular LTSC edge could be removed from settings without doing anything special and removing the recommended section with gpo also worked fine.
