But what would the difference be between this one and the one in 3-4 months (expected)? I do not mind using it in English. I always use English anyways. So if that's what my plan is, this is the ISO I should install and use today? Or do you mean there's a better and more updated ISO coming in 3-4 months with more features?
AFAIK after 3-4 months we will see multilanguage Win 10 Enterprise LTSC 2024 ISO, so if English ISO is suitable, you can install it now, it"s official release. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-2024-24h2-26100-x.88280/page-17#post-1837712 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-2024-24h2-26100-x.88280/page-33#post-1839134 What about new features, I was reading somewhere that current ISO has them (or will have with new updates) but they will be available at september this year when ISO unveils to the general customers. Although maybe what I was reading was about Win 11 24H2 non-LTSC, I don"t remember exactly now... Correct me if I'm wrong... Actually LTSC editions don"t receive the new features...
Add fr-fr lang to the iso (example with W10MUI), and try again your W10 21h2 is Pro? you will need to change EditionID registry value at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion"
i was wonder if some succeded to install w11 ltsc 24h2 in virtualbox 7.0.18 i have not much luck with it looking for input for settings or if cant be done yet?
My current version is W10 IoT 2021 LTSC . Adding fr-FR language with W10MUI does not change the issue. I have many times tried to change the setup file, appraiser.dll.. same issue. I don't know how the setup or other mechanism check the language in use on the 21h2 IoT FR..
Some people reported that there's Copilot on Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC. I just installed the OS and I could not find it. I'm hoping it doesn't show after some updates? I just installed all the latest Windows updates. Is it true that Copilot is on IoT Enterprise LTSC 24H2? Or are they perhaps using a fake ISO?
Installed the current iso downloaded from this thread, IoT Enterprise LTSC 24h2, Copilot is there. During install, choose United States (World). Dunno if that makes a difference, but I know that the OOBE failed miserably with the dropped ice-cream icon, then windows finished installing.
The Copilot PWA App is installed by the cumulative update on all editions they might block or remove it later for IoT LTSC
I literally just installed Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC (using the link from Massgrave's website, linked in this thread) on two computers. Language: English, Keyboard: Swedish, Date/Number format: Swedish No sign of any Copilot. And I'm currently installing it in plain English, default settings. Will report back how that went. It would make no sense if a keyboard layout would determine if I receive Copilot or not. I'm worried that it might show up later on. For now though, I have installed all the Windows updates it has, and activated using MAS. If Copilot starts showing up, I'll have to switch back to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC. I'd hate to have some AI bulls**t on my system. I also run high end computers, so it could not be due to hardware either. And since even Arrow's sales team (Windows Champ @ YouTube) went out and said Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC will not come with Copilot, that's what it should be like. If you are seeing some Copilot PWA, then it seems like something has been done wrong on your installation. I also understand that a PWA is not the same as a regular app. But nevertheless, it should not have it available "out of the box". Are you certain you installed IoT LTSC and not just IoT? I'd like to point out that during the setup, I chose to use the old installer interface. There's a button for it before choosing the partition to install to.
If your region is set to Sweden then you won't see Copilot for now but it might appear in the future.
I tried one with region Sweden and one with region USA, but with Swedish keyboard and timestamp. No Copilot. And my third installation just finished (English, USA. Everything left as default), still no Copilot out of the box. I'm however updating the third machine now so it gets all the latest Windows updates. Should be done in 10-15min.
I have now installed Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC using USA as region, and installed all the Windows updates. No sign of Copilot in the taskbar. But I do see it inside the "C:\Windows\InboxApps" folders. There are some installation files using "Copilot" in the name. To me, that's a bit worrying. So I guess I will consider myself as lucky (for now) to be from Sweden. No sign of it at all on my system when I use my Swedish (region) version of it. If they ever force it to install Copilot, I'm going back to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC. Or actually just going full on Debian 12. I currently dual boot it. But s**t, I do not like this AI stuff they're doing. Microsoft announced today that they're investing $3 billion USD in AI development here in Sweden, out of all places. Oh boy.... Such a corrupt country with lobbyists I live in. Really sad to see. I guess they will roll out Copilot here soon, so they can start training it on Swedish citizens. The reason they picked Sweden was due to the high level of innovation (specifically in tech) here.
