Yes, I have activated my machine with HWID since years, I use it with MS account (Home and Pro) and without (LTSC and enterprise), and downloaded apps from Store and updates, and multiple reinstalls and no problems.
Hello everybody! May be a stupid question, but if I install Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 24H2 OEM (en-US) will the Windows updater work normally (like on Win 10 LTSC) or do I need a third-party app?
I run kms server in old android phone using kisskms, no connection with MS servers & no issue with any antivirus @Dromaczek
Only if the name includes LTSC it's a usefull change and you can't change from Pro to IoT Enterprise 2024 LTSC.
Played a bit tonight with ltsc 2024 26100.1 looks alright. One issue I faced, removed edge and I think because of that I was getting error trying to install update. Anyone knows how to fix it?
Is this on iot ltsc? With iot ltsc i also had problems with uninstalling edge in a clean way. Normal ltsc you can just uninstall from apps menu when you are in eu region or change (temporary) to eu region.
I had the same issue. Use regular ltsc (I personally don't see any benefit in using iot ltsc anyway). Force removing edge with script breaks windows update in my experience. Also some gpo policies (like disabling recommended section in start) don't work on iot ltsc and work fine on ltsc.
