I need help translating the ISO to Spanish. I have the English ISO and the LPs ISO downloaded. Now what?
https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...on-automated-batch-script.68791/#post-1217467 Create a directory on a partition with enough space on it (at least 15 GB) depending on the number of LPs you are adding (e.g. C:\MUIDVD) and extract downloaded package below to the directory you have created. Step 2 Place language packs (cab/esd) files in "Langs" folder. Place ondemand packs (cab) files in "OnDemand\x86" or "OnDemand\x64" folder (based on architecture). Step 3 Place updates (msu/cab) files in "Updates" folder (you can add both architecture files together). edit Updates\W10UI.ini to change the updates options, but don't change Target or Repo (leave them blank) Step 4 Edit the script with notepad and adjust the following variables to suite your needs, or leave it as-is: DVDPATH Path for Windows distribution (without quotation marks!) you can use the iso file path directly, or path to custom extracted folder, or DVD/USB dive letter. leave it blank if you want to use iso file placed next to the script, or prompted to enter path. ISO (set 1 or 0) Create iso file afterwards or not WINPE (set 1 or 0) when enabled "1": require WinPE lang packs from ADK (Preinstallation Environment), winre.wim and boot.wim will be updated when disabled "0": boot.wim index 2 (setup image) will be updated manually with setup resources found in the main lang pack. when adding East-Asian lang, both boot.wim indices will be updated with font support SLIM (set 1 or 0) when disabled "0": all applicable WinPE lang packs will be added to boot.wim and winre.wim all lang resources files will be added to ISO sources directory and keep it as default. when enabled "1": only necessary WinPE LPs for setup/recovery will be added to boot.wim and winre.wim (Main, Setup, SRT). ISO payload files will be deleted, and keep required files for boot-setup (iso can be used only for clean install). NET35 (set 1 or 0) Enable .NET Framework feature or not if you enable it, microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package.cab file will be removed from iso\sources\sxs DEFAULTLANGUAGE culture code of the default language that will be set in the Windows images and as initial setup language it will be changed later when/if you choose another language at setup leave it blank if you want to keep the current default language in install image. MOUNTDIR optional set mount directory on another partition if available to speed integration, or leave it blank WINPEPATH optional custom directory path for WinPE language packs files, in case you do not want to install whole ADK WinPE feature you must keep the same directory order as in originial ADK leave it blank to auto detect the path for WinPE folder in the script current directory example: x64 German files: C:\MUIDVD\WinPE\amd64\WinPE_OCs\de-de x86 Arabic files: C:\MUIDVD\WinPE\x86\WinPE_OCs\ar-sa then you set the parent directory as path: set WINPEPATH=C:\MUIDVD\WinPE Step 5 Verify that all your settings are correct and that the required files are in the proper location. After that, execute the script as Administrator. The process will take quite some time to finish depending on number of LPs to add, so WAIT. If all went OK, You will get the "Finished" message. The new multilingual ISO can be found in the same directory besides the script. if you choose not to create iso file, the distribution folder "DVD" will renamed as iso name and remain after you close the script.
I have a low end pc, my specs are i3 2nd gen, 8gb ram and 500gb HDD My question is whether I should install IOT enterprise or Pro? I just need performance only
Why not test yourself? I ran the benchmarks with (iirc) 1809 all SKUs, including 2019 LTSC and there was no significant difference in performance between all SKUs of that release. Mostly older builds run faster because they are, basically, old, from the time that windows didn't consume so much resources and because the only still supported older builds are LTSB/C they are promoted to be used on older systems. But your system should be able to run 24H2 when a ssd is uses as systemdisk.
So you mean apart from using SSD, whether I install Windows 11 Pro or IOT Enterprise there is no change in performance?
Integration of any langpack with original en-us ISO is good if someone would like to install OS on numerous machines... But if you want to install it on a couple of your PCs, IMHO, that"s waste of time and might be complicated for unexperienced users ... In this case using PowerShell after installation is a best way... And gives 100% translation result... I think just for OS installation knowledge of English is enought for any MDL user...
If your motherboard is compatible with 24H2 better to install IoT LTSC... But for good performance SSD is a must for Win 11 running...
Been testing 24h2 both iot and pro over and over again for days trying to tweak it to save max space and ram and i could never create out of it anything better than 22h2. 24h2 sounds new, sounds better but fact is that theres nothing usefull for an average user added over 22h2 and performance over 22h2 are much worse. 24h2 both iot and pro are just useless crap, one of the reasons is because of microsoft added many new useelss packages like Aix making sure an average user wont remove them. if youre on older cpu get yourself 22h2 22621.2283 decrapify it using msmg toolkit do few regedit tweaks and i guarantee it will run much better than any 23h2 or 24h2 on any pc
Ltsc 2019 is the perfect system for me..not so heavy and running well on 3 years machine..I tried ltsc 2016, but haven't drivers for motherboard due to too much recent.
When on 2016 ltsb it was using 1gb ram right after boot but no dark mode etc. Win 11 22h2 22621.2283 uses 1.6gb ram after boot and just as snappy as ltsb 2016, I mean after I tweaked it a bit. Been running it on I5 750 from 2009 hhd gtx 660 to see how it performs no issues at all.
