The same not happening in the previous Win11 and Win10 Enterprise/LTSC editions, I really don't understand why Microsoft killed Embedded editions in favour of this Enterprise edition. They can say whatever they want, but embedded was far more efficient, lightweight, and space saver than now "new" OSes
hi, I downloaded the package: 26100.1.240331-1435.ge_release_amd64fre_CLIENT_LOF_PACKAGES_OEM Do I have to insert it into the LTSC ISO or do I install it later?
According to "Microsoft Configuration Manager", Enterprise LTSC 2024 will be supported for 10 years (not 5 as LTSC 2021)
You have to set the language before installation otherwise that ISO is useless, follow the method in the next post and follow the steps detailed in it, you do not need the ISO 26100.1.240331-1435.ge_release_amd64fre_CLIENT_LOF_PACKAGES_OEM W10MUI_24_3.7z by abbodi1406 Add Multilingual Support to Windows 10 Distribution - automated batch script | My Digital Life Forums
They're not planning to release any new os for another few years so you get their support no support for 10 years now plus cortana copilot and aix will make sure all data on your pc stays private, how cool, lol
Ahh that stuff I remove anyway. I may make some tutorials threads soon if mods allow me. Problem is, some features of the tool costs, so I need to make some research and several people to ask.
Damn, how you managed to get one ssd on 17°C? Active cooling? I only have some aluminum head-sinks, never going below 30 sadly. Very nice setup btw.In early times I was on asus + Intel either, great for oc and gaming, - now im more into video edit and vms.
17c that's actually c drive. It's called kc3000 and these are better than Samsung at least in my experience. It was 10 min after I booted pc up normally it will stay at around 26-30C idle, under load 35c and it only has passive heatsink but cuz it's close to cpu fan it gets free cooling. I don't recommend nv2 nvmes which are even cheaper but run hot not like hot hot but idle 30C under load 40-45C they too have passive heat sinks and free cooling from gpu fans
The backup app can be hidden from the start menu by setting "Block all consumer Microsoft account user authentication" to "enabled" in GPO. It works on both W10 and W11.
Haven't tested it but cool it can at least be hidden. heres regedit alternative to gpedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\MicrosoftAccount create dword32 DisableUserAuth set to 1
I just finished installing Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and activating it using Massgrave, and I want to thank you all contributors to the forum, because I am quite pleased by the experience. All the set-up has been straightforward, including using a local account, and Windows is running at a bare minimum and working flawlessly. I still debate to add a language pack or not, but I may not, since all my applications are already English only; that would only be added clunk. Anyway, thank you with all my heart.
If you need to localize one-two machines only you don"t need to waste your time for langpack download and integration via DISM, use PowerShell option after installation: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-2024-24h2-26100-x.88280/page-48#post-1841925
