It's not a simple hotfix, it download +5GB and tries to install it, it fails and repeats it, over and over and over again... That's because your laptop most like (100% sure) has a MSDM bioskey for Home, so the iso installation will auto-select Home at installation. For normal Enterprise you need a Business ISO for this, that ISO already has an ei.cfg onboard which lets you select the desired SKU to install. or when using a Consumer ISO (doesn't contain Enterprise): To circumvent this you can use an ei,cfg (put it in the "ISO/USB/DVD:\Sources\" folder) and it will offer you all available SKUs on the ISO to install on your laptop. Or use a pid.txt with the key in for education (put it in the "ISO/USB/DVD:\Sources\" folder) and it will autoselect Education when installing the ISO/USB/DVD.
Ah ok then meh guess I will wait then. Also thanks for the info will do that then to get windows 11 education installed then switch to the ltsc enterprise once it comes out then. So thanks for the help
Thanks for all that valuable info @Enthousiast The only way I was ever able to get around the bioskey issue was to disable secure boot. So are you saying that you can leave secure boot enabled and just use a ei,cfg or a pid.txt?
Therefore, IMHO, best option for those who wants to use this Preview build is to block any updates right after installation.
Did that work for the feature upgrade? And then you still are running a complete useless timebombed and not featured test install.
I do not run it. It was just my advise... UPD: Today I got Lenovo Thinkpad X230 laptop, just installed it for testing...
I see IS in english WE can't move or change in trench language ? And IS eval ISO limitée AT 90 days ?and for generic keys for install where i can found this ?
It's just a showcase/proof of existence, an insider preview build with LTSC licenses in. ps, what are the chances that two of these "Official" ISOs were leaked in china?
there is speculation that the ge_release in the name means 26100 should be the final build if no major issues emerge.
