Really annoying, and the new icons always open on the right side, not on the left like before. And when you try to move them a "forbidden" icon is displayed.
After having successfully updated to Build 22621.819 the systray is completely gone (not shown anymore). How to solve this problem? Update: Some hours later It turned out, that the issue has something to do with the USB connection. As soon as I connect any USB device, the systray appears, but clears away as soon as I disconnect the USB device.
In two of my systems, this new LCU KB5019980 [2262x.819] is not offered via the Windows Update channel even after seeking manually (click on check for update) one is running on build 22623.741 (RP build), another one is 22622.675 (Retail build) what could be the possible reason for this? Anyone else here getting such issue?
This. And as has been said every build before 885 they were moveable. Clearly a new bug introduced at least I hope it's not intentional. How on earth MS let these bugs get through? It's literally the first thing I noticed immediately after installing the update. Don't notice any fixes or improvements just more broken s***. Absolute bunch of muppets.
Cant believe they still havnt fixed the low performance file copy bug and the issue with WDM causing the GPU to use 100% while the PC is idle.
22621.819 the windows store gives me an error, it does not let me update the applications or put the PowerShell
22632.885 beta build very buggy. i rolled back to earlier build. it takes like 10 minutes to load up the taskbar and then sometimes i click on the start button and it wont even pop up.
On a fresh install 22621.819 after first reboot i got a white blank system tray and after around one minute it back by itself...
if your ISO was cleaned up or clean up was applied online (it could be triggered by Task Scheduler) then you can't mix Retail/RP/Beta LCUs and the only quick fix is in-place upgrade if you are going to stay on Retail LCUs then build 22621.819 ISO with or without cleanup, upgrade your OS from that ISO and stay away from Insider Preview updates if you are going to install any Insider Preview LCUs then build 22621.819 (Retail) or 22623.885 (Beta) ISO without cleanup, upgrade your OS, disable cleanup in Task Scheduler and never run it again
After the last OS Update the systray is permanently missing here, but meanwhile I found out, that this issue is only present, when no USB device is connected. As soon as I attach any USB device, the systray is back and its icons usable.
They are still movable on my system. try this [38764045] (NotificationAreaIconRearrange) Priority : Service (4) State : Enabled (2) Type : Override (0) with vivetool Have you guys been tweaking your OS or installing stuff from other versions or something? i have no issues, slight slowdown on certain things not realy worth worrying about You could try disable this [39413510] (WSEQuickAction) Priority : Service (4) State : Enabled (2) Type : Experiment (1)
Spotlight on lockscreen works, ive never tried desktop as i use bing wallpaper which is basically the same thing but works properly lol
