nice to see im not the only one with xbox issues, looking through feedback i nearly thought my pc was fkd.. they all brandnew drives on the plus side...the delay is totaly fixed,, no lag and most of my fps has returned in this build this maybe because defender is kinda broken ??? when your sad ..just let one rip in front of your spouse ..makes everything better
Canary is more stable than beta at the moment..any new comers should stay away from beta builds until fixed
I was on zn_release Canary before switching to beta build. imo it was pretty solid build, few new things yet few problems. I might stay longer there if not for the timebomb.
22631.2115 still suffers from freezing and lock ups on the desktop when re-naming files or unziing large file
what.?? i tought it was me or a tweak i used. 1-2 GB or more size files .exe when trying to install more than 2 i have face it hangs because i can still move the cursor but the UI just hangs cant do anything i have to force shut down using power button then next boot it works fine until again i install 2 big files and again hangs... well am glad to hear its not a tweak i use. that works fine on w10.. so it is in fact the OS. ok here is thread i was explaining theis problem https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-and-faced-problems.87133/page-2#post-1798784
Windows 10 and Windows 11 are both operating systems developed by Microsoft. Windows 10 was released in 2015, while Windows 11 was released in 2021. Here is a comparison of the two operating systems: Windows 10 Pros: More mature and stable operating system More features and customization options Wide range of hardware support Cons: Not as visually appealing as Windows 11 Not as optimized for touch screens No support for Android apps Windows 11 Pros: More modern and visually appealing design Better optimized for touch screens Supports Android apps Cons: Less mature and stable operating system Fewer features and customization options Not as widely supported by hardware manufacturers
The file explorer problems that I was experiencing with 22631.2115 yesterday seem to have gone away today. Which is funny, because I haven't changed anything, I haven't even rebooted. I did reboot 2 days ago, to see if that would help, and it didn't.
Why do the Windows 10 and 11 installers state in the final stage Windows is installing updates when the build keeps the same? Does it mean it's installing non-CU updates?
Optimized for touch screens, sure. New context menu and increased space for items in Windows Explorer are clearly intended for touch screen users. Though I always revert back that context menu to classic style and prefer use Compact view in Explorer anyway. Modern design? It is easier to use 3rd party tools to modify the looks instead of upgrading OS. Rather than design, the main reason we switch to Windows 11 is because many of us (including myself) have "fetish" for Windows Updates, whether or not those updates bring something useful. Android support? Older Windows can just run emulator. And even for WSA users, not many of them will spend more time with WSA than with their Android phones.
xbox games fixed ..doesn't explain why they got deleted though Now its the pain of re installing with a poopy low bandwidth internet Does anoyne else have credential guard missing?
I have disabled all the fictional security lowering perfomance like Spectre mitigations and virtualization, so I do not even have Core Isolation.
THESE ARE DONE BY WINDOS UPDATE, could be installing or upgrading these packages after initial install of operatring system
basically non os updates can still be installed the same way as os, things like .net for example require a reboot and will say windows is updating
