Bypassing system requirement for W11 (TPM 2.0 & min 8th gen CPU) still works. I am running the latest (retail) build 22621.2134 in one of my decade-old hardware (No TPM & 2nd Gen i5 2500K CPU) without any problem. You should be able to install the latest 22H2 build in your system with that trick.
Yes, but it stopped working for certain chipsets, like discussed here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...annel-rs_prerelease.87282/page-2#post-1800288 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...annel-rs_prerelease.87282/page-2#post-1800418 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...annel-rs_prerelease.87282/page-2#post-1800290 among others...
Although he didn't mention his actual hardware configuration in his earlier post. But the links you shared, are about the canary channel (25921) build and about a C2D system, & I said /confirmed about the latest 22H2 retail channel (22621.xxxx) builds with a 2nd Gen i5 system. Though I've heard the same & and all those actually started from the canary build 25905. Assuming MSFT (probably) soon gonna block W11 bypass installation on unsupported H/W via any workaround. Plus, they recently removed around 40+ Intel Xeon CPUs & Cispets from their MSR list although that doesn't affect the end consumers directly as all are server-grade chipsets & CPUs
Thanks........ my cpu is intel core duo e8400 running at 3000mhz......I've noted your post and see what happens in October. Although microsoft is excepting my bi- pass ATM for win 11 it's strange that if I choose insider, I get the message from MS refusing saying something like "install win 10" so MS must check something?
had to disable new recommend ui in explorer ..that white flash is terrible .... dont need it anyways and i have more custom options with old one just gave it a try to see what was fixed ..meh
Another build another bug. Now the downloads folder sticks to sorting by date modified no matter what. Set it to by name and then go to a different folder. When you come back to the downloads folder it is back to sorting by date modified again. Microsoft just makes me laugh at this point.
try this ..it will get rid of the nasty new recommended and put old one back, everything works after that vivetool /disable /id:38664959 /priority: user reset folder view also incase something is stuck yea your right stays on date, im sure there wasa fix,, ill do some looking
I think I am going to reformat and get off this trash can channel of builds. The beta channel used to not be this buggy and all around trashy. I am tired of this trash.
