We already have the 22631 EP for quite a while, what is so special now all of a sudden? UUP dump had the specific 23H2 download button for a while too but it got removed.
I find all these different builds very confusing these days. So build 22632 is the upcoming 23H2 release? This one is supposed to be released end of this month? So what is 23521 supposed to be? 24H1? (I'm on this build, and it has been quite unstable so far, so I'm relieved it's not 23H2!) And 25931 is what? 24H2? And MS are hiding Win12 from us, correct?
[Internal Corpnet Required] Windows 11, version 23H2 (22631.2215) [Internal Corpnet Required] Windows 11, version 23H2 (22631.2277) It seems that 23H2 will soon be pushed to the RP channel.
Even Zinc (252xx and 253xx) and Gallium (258xx and 259xx) currently still use 23H2 naming. Though Zinc has been available for commercial release as Azure Stack HCI 23H2, and we'll probably get 24H1 for Gallium next year.
Just take a look at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion to understand how much MS cares about a precise numbering scheme Imagine you are an alien and it's the first time you are looking for the version number. It could be anything from Win8.1 to Win12
Nothing confusing: 22000 = Win 11 21H2 (released in the second half of 2021) >>> full upgrade >>> 22621 = Win 11 22H2 (released in the second half of 2022) No new real major release, only a fake new build by Enablement Package >>> 22631.xxxx All higher builds are test builds....
Manifesting CU with safemode fix and more stability for explorer And hopefully the slowness in loading content from search box and highlights at login
