Why all this talk of build 22631, when it is actually build 22621.1 which is the official 23H2 build direct from MS? I think this is one of the reasons there is so much confusion here. Even the UUP dump APP is offering 22631 when selecting the latest public release build...
Confusion? Windows 11 23H2 file build: 22621 (as 22H2) registry build: 22631 (using EP) is similar to Windows 10 22H2 file build: 19041 (as 2004) registry build: 19045 (using EP)
The version of the setup.exe doesn't determine the OS version. You would have to use winver.exe or use WMI from inside the installed OS (like "gwmi win32_operatingsystem") Edit: I can confirm that the real release number of the "en-us_windows_11_business_editions_version_23h2_x64_dvd_a9092734.iso" is 22631
It upgraded with just running windows update when ya install it from the Massgrave links with no need to install the KB part after as in from 2428 to 2506
Very strange. One guy was officialy upgrading from 22H2 to 23H2 as he said via Win 11 Installation Assistant, he dropped me screenshot with his WU updates he received during this procedure but I found there no EP. How is that possible?
I installed 22635.2428 and it came without Copilot, System components in Settings and no Teams. After update to 2508 I got System components.
Yes, consumer MVS = client TB Code: --------------------------- Compare contents --------------------------- The two files have the same content! f:\23H2_Public_TB_22631.2428\Win11_23H2_English_x64.iso d:\MVS_22631.2428_Bus\MVS_Oct_2023_22631.2428_SVFSFX\en-us_windows_11_consumer_editions_version_23h2_x64_dvd_8ea907fb.iso --------------------------- OK ---------------------------
We got the new public 22631.2428 Techbench ISOs, we got the new 22631.2428 MVS ISOs, we got the 22631.2428 ESD files and we got the 23H2 EP (now public)...
