I clean installed 22H2 using UUP and used the AppsLevel=1 option, so only the MS Store and Defender were installed. But now I can't open "Get in Store App" links from the browser i.e. Disney+ (I can't post links), this is problematic when trying to install the Web Experience Pack for example, which I only managed to install by using the .appx as the store link would not open my Microsoft Store. When clicking the "Get in Store App" link from the browser the Store process is initiated and even appears on the taskbar but there's no output (some missing dependency maybe?) Does anyone know how I could fix this issue? (Already tried WSReset.exe and installing Winget)
msft getting more useless as unless you internal employee what is the use of beta/release preview seeing us stuck on 105/160 so long and internal now 296 and 169 rp just like staggered features/apps for beta/dev; real guinea pigs need access immediately as real guinea pigs can't complain if their test machines or using as production get borked or fubared oh well just my rant as no longer real hackers for OS and OS update leaks exist other than for tv shows/movies/apps
sounds like edge not the store that as the problem. I cant install any program from the downloads icon directly from edge, it just freezes Does the store work with direct download from app? Have you checked to see if the purchase app is installed Microsoft.StorePurchaseApp_8wekyb3d8bbwe
I ran a script to re-register all apps yesterday it did not work then but today it is now working, maybe it was not even a bug on my end. Who knows...
I mean he isn't wrong about them not pushing an update to insiders and being up to .296 internally when we are on .160. What is the point of having insiders if you don't push stuff for us to test?
22621.1 is the final RTM so just grab one of its official MS ISO and upgrade/clean install your devices without being enrolled in any Insider program, then just do regular Windows Updates and live happy. It already is super smooth, polished and stable so far. Still arguing and s**tting on people about it or waiting for internal updates to land like new drug doses is as pointless as stupid at this point.
there's still critical bug with Windows Defender being broken after inplace upgrade from 22000 build - https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...channel-ni_release.85327/page-48#post-1740941 I'm not sure if this is build 22000 fault or not, but inplace upgrade from 19044 doesn't break it
I'd like Microsoft to make an update, send it out to their unpaid, but enthusiastic beta testers, get feedback, fix the bugs they highlighted, then send that update out to the public. Crazy stuff ha?
