If this behaviour gets "locked in" for Windows 11, it does raise an interesting question, "is it better now to be connected to the web for installs of Windows 11, --- or ---- does one just do what was done in the past, disconnect from the web on installs."

Has anyone noticed that selecting items, in desktop, in services.msc etc.. is actually not selecting the item under the mouse pointer, or it does it after several re-clicks?
The Widgets problem you mentioned affected me too, no solution so far. I found when checking Event Viewer that widgets.exe was crashing every time it was invoked (ie clicking the button). Others suggested disabling the graphics card, trying it, then re-enabling it, which didn't help, so Widgets not working at all at the moment.
Anyone else have an issue where the keyboard often double types a letter in Windows 11? Edit: Never mind, I fixed it by increasing the repeat delay on Control Panel/Keyboard.
Yes, I remember many years ago someone saying that every new version of Windows they come up with another way to soak up the extra power of newer machines.
In your opinion, what is FAKE? Just asking. I personally like the new look, and so far am enjoying playing around with it. Using if for my main OS, with back-ups of course. Than, again, I am over 80.
