is getting close maybe two or three releases away but who knows MS mite just patch it up and put it out their
So only bug i can find is the explorer crash at restart or shutdown Maybe we will get the tabs in an update or new build which will solve the error(if its coding looking for something thats not there) Kinda wishful thinking tbh
Microsoft likes to reveal features, and then push them back until a future Windows 11 update, it is possible tabs might come in 22H2 or they will get delayed until the Windows 11 update for 2023
Doubt tabs will be part of the "RTM" build of 22H2, however it could always return in a future cumulative update if they feel like it's ready. Could also be delayed for years or worst case scenario be scrapped again.
Scrolling is really stuttering in certain areas of windows, it's much more noticeable on high refresh rate displays.
Ok, from what I can gleam, 22H2 is basically the same as 21H2 under the hood, just new features and minor appearance changes. In other words, no real need for a clean install as there is nothing really that has changed deep down. just let it upgrade naturally (except those with privacy concerns, then a clean install).
TBH, Win11 22H2 is objectively worse with all anti-consumer changes compared to 22H1. Cons: 1. The desktop right click context menu. Now you cannot hide Show more options even if you disable legacy Nvidia/AMD context menus. 2. Pro edition requires internet access to set up fresh. oobe\bypassnro command in cmd is a workaround. 3. Printers and Devices have been moved over to confusing settings app. Which does invoke elements of old control panel because MS engineers are incompetent to port everything to settings app. 4. Why is there an obsession to Pin Recycle Bin everywhere? As noticeable from it's new context menu? So far I have accidentally pinned it to start 3-4 times in last 2 days. Third class UI design. 5. Little lower fps in games compared to 21H1 Pros: 1. Explorer is a tiny bit faster 2. New Task Manager but it is not as good as earlier one to use. This later part can be a con. 3. New context menu icons are good for some UI consistency. 4. More pins to start menu instead of stupid Recommended section. I am sure it must also be sending TBs of more telemetry data to MS which they earlier must have not thought about enough.
I downloaded ISO build 22598 from UUPDUMP, now i want to update it. Manually updating (without using Windows update) the build of an existing Windows 11 installation requires downloading the whole ISO or is possible to manually install the update? Having to reinstall the whole system for every new release to have only some small tweaks and fixes is so weird.
