Like any other shell page Create a folder and rename it to System.{BB06C0E4-D293-4f75-8A90-CB05B6477EEE} OR Use winaerotwaker too add the system shell item wherever you like (sidepanel quicklaunch...)
Far future, possible. Near future, unlikely. They didn't remove it in a couple of years, hardly they will do that in win w11 as well. Perhaps removing something which is not bloat, risking unforeseen backward compatibility problems, would be just stupid.
I really doubt this, because its still more precise and faster to reach than the page on UWP settings. Plus a lot of OEM info generally shows there. Can confirm on my crappy Sansung ultrabook with 8.1 MC edition
I am referring to the issue prior to your post. Not actually about the Widgets crashing. The crashing Widgets is likely due to graphics driver issue.
I'm pretty sure build 22000.1 was actually the real RTM at this point. Cumulative updates and improvements/fixes on top will just go on until October, and then release to everyone. I clean installed 22000.70 on my XPS 9310 2-in-1 (No Insider enrollment) and everything works great, minus the already known small visual quirks they will fix soon.
I don't think I have seen it mentioned yet so I assume it can't be done but can we uncombine the taskbar groups? Even just doing some basic testing it is beyond frustrating having everything combined.
It's not graphics, someone suggested that a while ago and it didn't fix it. It's Geforce graphics, not Intel which seems to be what others are referring to. And my last reply was because you suggested checking my install files, which I don't have since I updated using WU not an ISO.
Is better if you read that (small) thread https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...taskbar-and-keep-explorer-new-features.83668/
