Is TPM for encryption? Do you have to encrypt it with Windows own encryption with TPM or can you encrypt it with wethever encryption software like VeraCrypt?

How to bypass Windows own Windows Update to not update drivers via Windows Update? I like to update drivers from manufacturer own site.

RTM is "RELEASE TO MANUFACTURING" not "RELEASE TO MANUFACTURERS." The first implies release to the MS department which MAKES AND SELLS PRODUCT, and that the product is essentially done. The second could easily be interpreted to be release to prospective customers and see what they think.

    • Open the start menu.
    • Search for “ Control Panel ” and open it.
    • Make sure that the View on top-right corner is set to “Small icons” or “Large icons.” Find and select the “ System ”...
    • Go to the “ Hardware ” tab.
    • Click on the “ Device Installation Settings ” button.
    • Select the “ No (your device might not work as expected) ” radio option.
    • Click on the “ Save changes ” button.
    • Close the other windows.
    • Reboot Windows.
    • Windows 11 users go to settings about tab and choose advanced system settings

Both are used, but you're right the technical term is release to manufacturing. They both get used constantly and interchangeably.

Is there anything to remove that annoying microsoft account setup that shows up after each reboot even though the installed version is Windows 11 Pro and not the home edition?

I was/am a member of Windows 10 Insider program. A few weeks ago I got an email telling me that although I was very valuable to Microsoft and they thanked me profusely for my service, my hardware just wasn't good enough
to meet their standards and I would not be in the Windows 11 insider program. I have since gotten new hardware. What do I do? It is so lonely being a Windows Outsider.
