got this error after window 11 rebooted after coping files..... a Black Screen of Death came and system went back to recovery and got the above error message in windows 10.
I have been using this Win 11 Boot And Upgrade FiX KiT v2.0 with option 2, always install with internet of no matter what kind of system and never home or n version.Have been working all time also today.
Use the bigger one (without amd64_ prefix) the other one is for express deployment by WU this is side effect of the recent changes with UUP dump
I haven't seen this one before. I can't get the WU SVC to start to check for updates. Any ideas on how to fix this?? I have tried starting the Windows Update Service manually and it starts then stops and goes to Disabled. I have tried it automatically and it starts then stops tell me it won't run unless it's needed. Everything was fine last night. Now I have this.. Any help in getting this started again? It also has affected the Microsoft store. It always says now it needs no updates when checking it. TIA
I tried the WIN10MAN, didn't work. Tried the troubleshooter, couldn't find anything wrong. Mine is a dual boot so I booted 22471.1000 and it found updates for Windows and Microsoft Store. That is what I am running now. It appears, something is keeping the services from running to allow WU and Microsoft Store update to run. Also, The option for updating other products, the first line under Advanced options is off and the description is blank. I turn it on, try to run Windows Update and it gets turned back off again the the description continues to be blank.. Does this help with your troubleshooting??? Thx..
Windows Update crash when click on Optional Updates and Configured update policies. Any one has this error?
I tried the WUB tool suggested. No go. Did the Windows Update Troubleshooter, no go. Reinstalled OEM 22194.1000 with Fix option 2. No go. Still have the problems reported above. Build 22471.1000 works and updates fine on another physical drive.. I am going to reformat and reinstall build 22000.194 OEM with Fix 2 and see if that fixes it, unless someone else has any suggestions... Will let you know later how this pans out...
