guys, at tb.rg-adguard.net they provide the iso for windows 11 called: Windows 11 22000.318 V1

Does anyone knows what is this "V1"? will there be a V2 iso?

This "V1" makes me think this iso is not ready to be used as rtm, but rather as an beta and they should release another iso soon... it feels like that for me.

RTM iso in GA is revision X. V1 iso is revision X+Y. V2 iso is revision X+Y+Z.

yeh, for those like me living in the past, RTM was the first good stable version that was installed on new machines, and updates and fixes were added to that base system. It was a base level install that just worked.

Fast forward to Windows 11 and that method of release is in the bin. It really doesn't matter what version you install, generally the latest Cumulative Update just over-writes the entire system to new build in the first update (no more masses of tiny updates to download for the RTM in the olden days).

As a thought bubble exercise thou - If one was looking at what could have been called an RTM version, well it could be either

22000.9 ---- This did appear on machines in stores on release date (quickly replaced with the latest)
22000.194 ---- This was the first true stable version released by M$ for general downloads

BUT as stated, its more a who cares exercise.

I have been busy of late and away from the Microsoft Windows scene for quite some time.

Could someone clarify this: is Windows 11 21H2 v1 identical to en-gb_windows_11_consumer_editions_updated_nov_2021_x64_dvd_3c3e9d7b.iso ?

*.348 seems to be faster than previous CU

Nothing else was changed or updated, but it seems somewhat faster on my pc’s.

    Nice
