Might be still kinda relevant: anyone have those ISO images of System Center 2025 (e.g. DPM / SCCM etc.) that released together with Windows Server 2025? Thanks.

Has anyone noticed the 16389 and 16398 error in the Event Log?

Is that on evaluation install? or converted from eval? or regular activated with OEM SLP?

 

Regular activated with OEM SLP. I will try to install the old cumulative update to see if the error occurs again.

 

I did see "Error occured during grace period 0x80070490 at No grace timer found." in Windows Application log. This only happened when the system was freshly installed, and there was no network connection.

After activating Windows against my local vlmcsd server via KMS, the error didn't happen anymore for me.

 

It seems to be related to the sppsvc service. When sppsvc is running, 16389 will always appear, and occasionally the 16398 error will occur.

he think it's probably related to PGS:TB thing
