I already know how to use them thanks... and tried several of them... not one loaded, just errors all over the place about windows components missing that are stripped out. Unless 3rd party apps resort to using a non-gui they are just a no-go.

The ACORE edition is intended for AD only, and "ACORE" compatible apps.
Maybe in the future we will see Exchange Acore compatible, and same stuff for other software.
This will come true if people adapts and likes the Acore version.

I don't understand what all this obsession is with a newer Windows Server 2016 (with the GUI).
I've found absolutely nothing wrong with version 1607 (Build 14393.1770).
What has anyone found wrong with 14393 that makes them so desperate for an intermediate build before R2 ??

Can anyone help with Shared VHDX and ReFS packages from 1709 server to W10 1709, like we had from WS2016 to W10 1607.

Indeed it works pretty well both as desktop and as a server OS

The only thing which is really much improved on 16299 is Linux. To be fair Server 1607 has no linux at all but you can use the packages taken from W10.

    Hi Guys,

I have the OEM release released by WZORnet a while back is 16299.0 and I can't install the first KB released kb4043961, says is not applicable, however I can install over the ISO released on VLSC as 16299.15.

any ideas how can I convert the install or fix this problem? I don't want to rebuild the servers based on 16299.0

    Cheers
