You are absolutely right acer-5100. I was using Win11 ProWS instead of Win11 Pro. Made all the difference in the world. Got Nero, Kasperssky Internet security installed and running. Also installed the actual Intel i211 network adapter driver.
Now that being said problem solved.
I suggested Pro for a reason, given not always the switch happens properly when switching from server.
In short, if you need to convert server to, say Enterprise, Do Server ---> Pro ---> Enterprise.
Perhaps is easy to check if the conversion went fine
Just right click on mypc icon ---> manage
If you get PC Management you are on client
If you get Server manager you are on server
NO MATTER OF WHAT Winver or PC properties are saying.
Hmm, so I guess someone can make a script to easily switch between server and client mode. @acer-5100 what are the exact steps?
Windows 11 Settings UWP on Server 2022?!
A script to issue two commands? Sure someone can do that, but that one is not me. There is a difference between providing relevant infos and spooning.
Come on! Just reread what I wrote. I provided all the needed infos, while you were busy criticizing what I wrote.
I thought you need to copy license files too.
And read what RobrPatty wrote as well, that's 22000.xxx build not the released server 2022
So he switched 11 to server?
you need the SKU certs, you need them only one time, once installed they are installed
OK, where are they located?
He switched Win11 Server to Win 11 pro, then back to Win11 Server
Where is Win11 server? I thought 2022 is the last and based on 10.
You need a mom, not a forum.
I just run slmgr.vbs -dlv
that tells me everything I need to know. (client or server)
No, it doesn't. I wasn't wasting my time explaining how to check if that was enough.
