Does anyone recall from previous cycles whether a CU released in advance like the one today actually ends up being the same one released to everyone later?

 

ok. ive downloade the supposed rtm iso from the mediacreationtool on pastebin.. how can i check the iso to see the version of this one?

 

I remember when 16299.15 got released a few days later 16299.19 got pushed out. I'm thinking in a few days another CU will roll out.

 

Just check the property details of "setup.exe" inside your downloaded ISO.

Google also never asks me for feedback yet facebook shows me suggested pages when I look for specific stuff

 

This setting is really obfuscate, I am choosing ALWAYS as I would like Windows to ask me before sending any feedback but it may be that my interpretation is completely wrong

 

No need to copy copy entire contents of ISO to a folder : just mount the iso.

 

I think you misunderstand, AFAIK that option controls the frequency with which Windows requests feedback, that is, if you choose "always", you will see these notifications much more often asking you to rate your build or asking you what you think of one of the functions of the system:
