    Hi, I read many posts about modding my own bios. And it seems I modded mine succesfully. But I'd like to know if I can flash my mainboard with the qflash utility within the BIOS. I don't have a floppy driver that's why I use qflash most of the time. Any idea?

    You can, but most people use a flash drive and make it bootable..Do you need help with this???FLASHSPI is best, but I think QFlash is acceptable...

    @BIOS is NOT ACCEPTABLE.....:cool:

    Hey, I use bootable usb flash drive from time to time, how come I couldn't think of that :) Ok now I have 2 options. Should I prefer flashpi over qflash? And why?

    ps: Should I flash the original bios first before the modded one? (I have F11c on mainboard, but modded the latest one F11e. )

    flashpi from pure DOS. To flash from pure DOS is IMO the best way at Gigabyte bios. And yes, flash the original bios before.

    I agree with Medic and Yen because @bios gaved me sometimes a failure at startup (Power up the pc and after 3-4 seconds my pc turned off because it couldnt pass the bios check) after 6-8 months i knew where the problem came from. I flashed my bios with FLASHSPI and now all the ''startup'' problems are gone.

    I never would notice this if i didnt mod my bios and used the tool for it (i always thought my mobo had a problem), i always flashed with @bios because i didnt have a usb flash drive. From now on i never will use a windows flash utility.
