I have this feeling that Windows 10 is being misused, it's not X-mas and family pictures being stored in cloud, it's porn. All the sinners must delete this, the sooner the better, stop before your sight starts to fail you, stop buy a camera and make er, home movies, jk, lol
many review web site compare the performance and image quality of differnet game there is no different between win7 and win10 IF using the same direct x level and same setting. what may make the different is the driver, from time to time the graphic driver got update with better image quality/performance.
T-S it is not too often that we get all 3 of our beloved amigos right in a row. Must be a slow day with no app updates so they are on to their second passion. I will go with the placebo option similar to that of Quadro vs Geforce drivers. The game possibly looks better because video game settings differ or drivers and most likely not the OS or a different direct x11? Who know may be windows 10 excites the crystals in a lcd better (not trying to get you 3 going again), if you wants to be sure, and convince anyone of your hypothesis, you will need the dual boot that you mentioned, comparable drivers and games settings. Second passion, Nay, updates, after last, I've lost all passion for them, now for the experiment I did, I dual boot on one of my computers Win 7, and Win 10 so they have same video card, 32 Gigs of RAM, well you get the picture, WoWser it was hard concentrating on my task, but I forced myself, and to be honest I could get no further than Windows 10, The quality was super, the content, well let me put it this way, I am single, and now feel no urge to get married, second passion, no, now first, now I must experiment some more, lol
Pffft.. no games do NOT look better blah blah blah. I do test allot. I have running Win 7 x64 pro, Win 8.1 x64, Win 10 pro x64 and Hackentosh Mac Yo/EL.... So for ME just ONE looks so much better in MAC then Windows. Its OPENGL game. Not night and day. Now I have noticed in windows things LOOK different.. well the MONITOR..in Win 10 maybe you just have the monitor adjusted different or didnt this time. Maybe Win 10 loaded the right ones and now the COLORS look a tad diff.. blah blah blah Try NOT to shoot down others that have been there done that. Lol its just TEXT relax.
I up to recently had a fast single core amd64 with an AGP nvidia 7800gs that dual booted windows 7 for general stuff, and XP for gaming. The game performance was night and day faster than windows 7 on windows 10 using a windows 7 video driver in windows 10 that supported the 7800 and AGP. It installed no problem. Nvidia driver version 184 beta I believe. There are a lot of WHQL drivers in that version 184 but the beta worked best. So, we can conclude that in this situation Windows 10 was the clear winner. I'm not going to try windows 7 on my new gaming box and I've forgotten XP.
