The Dell BIOS executables do have switches. Dell does not openly publish the list. There are snippets in obscure locations on their site of two of these. There maybe more switches than I have listed, and if so, please post them, or if you know what one of the switches I have not defined does, please let me know. Before I discovered there were switches, I had gone to the trouble of writing a BIOS Silent Flash script that pushed the extracted hdr file to the system.

I have an idea. Please backup your BIOS using [Thread]9856[/thread] and post a link.

This thread is funny people people kept offering "help" without realizing that starting with the E6*10 and greater (UEFI machines) there were no longer these options. It's pretty obvious if you just run strings on an update EXE, or, you know, try /? and see that there is no option. at least LatinMcG stated this eventually.

    i found out that dell uses puts a dos self extracting software called b m t m i c r o . com/BMTCatalog/multipleos/dexpress.html it cost 25 to be able to extract files

    sendspace.com/file/2t6kx7[/url]

the exe is from dell and zip is contents of extracted exe
in the zip is the disk express selef extracting disk maker it needs a real floppy drive not emulated.
you can see a romfile in the disk express file just says it is corrupt because of uknown type of compression
can someone extract the disk image for me ?
