I'm still unable to install the latest .NET updates via Windows Update. Manually installing works fine with the .NET ESU Bypass installed, but always fails through Windows Update. I've been looking through the posts on the last couple of pages, but can't seem to work out if it's been resolved.

Yep, I have the same problem with Windows Update.
Deploying and using the BypassESU-v7-WS2008 tool resolves the issue and allows MNF 4.6.2 updates to install.

Depending on what happens this upcoming "patch Tuesday" will determine if me maintaining the guide in post #1 will continue.
I have other testing interests going on right now, so abandoning the maintenance of the guide will give me more time.

Yep, I figured it was done.
I'm going to wait until after "patch Tuesday" to do another complete test of the guide with Windows Vista Business SP2 64-bit.
Once that's done, I'll update the guide to reflect the arrival of the end of support for Windows Server 2008 SP2 64-bit.

KB articles for todays Win7/Vista updates are published separately from Update History

it could be ment for the "Premium Assurance Support" which will continue to 2026
or it's a one time to thing fix critical security issues
or they want to allign with POSReady 7 support and end them all on 2024-10

Too much discussion about if the next month will be the last or not in my opinion.
Once the next month comes we either get updates either we don't :) It is that simple :)
Btw @abbodi1406 how do you find those articles in general? I never figured it out. Is it just googling "month's updates" sort of or is there a specific link path to follow? Thank you!

Why are you very persistent to predict or know the future?
just use the updates as long as they available

That's a news post from 2018... Updates will end when they end. Meanwhile just enjoy your old system

You have to install them manually unfortunately. Something changed with the latest .NET updates and they won't install through Windows Update on Vista. The last few pages had a discussion on it. Also make sure you have the latest .NET bypass installed.

    Burdus77:

After an initial WU scan on February 2024 "patch Tuesday", my test laptop detected and installed KB5034795 SMQR.
After a restart and another WU scan, it detected and installed KB5034867 SSU.
After another restart and another WU scan, it detected and installed KB5034690 MNF.
