It renames the original appraiserres.dll to appraiserres.dll.bak and puts in the 1703 appraiserres.dll. I believe i did that last night, to no avail, will retry. EDIT: Yep, it's the 16299.15 dll i was testing. Whatever of the two 15063 or 16299.15 dll, all requirement checks are passed but when it starts copying files it fails and sets you back to the desktop with the "installation failed" message. This is from 22000.176 > 22449.1000 by ISO. WU only needs the appraiserres.dll from 1703 in the temp folder to skip the requirement checks. Now testing inplace/repair upgrade 22449.1000 > 22449.1000 with the fixed 22449.1000 ISO and it goes beyond the point on which the 22000.176 > 22449.1000 failed. EDIT2: For 22449.1000 > 22449.1000 inplace/repair ISO upgrades the used appraiserres.dll doesn't matter, 1703 or the 1709 both work.
Will the Module be available in new MB:s by default? Which CPU:s will have TPM? Do you activate that in BIOS?
@WinFree: Some motherboards produced later than 2012 already has the TPM 1.2 or even 2.0 on Board. Those must be enabled in the BIOS to be accessible. Newer Intel CPUs and AMD Ryzen CPUs having the TPM build-in inside the CPU. Use the command prompt CMP (as Admin) to get the info if TPM is available on your system. The command is: TPM.msc
22449.1000 on an ancient laptop from at least 2009, probably older https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...l-project-mrp-mk3.71555/page-368#post-1687379
Can you run the QT from here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/multi-oem-retail-project-mrp-mk3.71555/#post-1283849 and post the saved report here in code tags? DON'T publish the private report, it contains info you don't want to be public. And check if your cpu is supporting tpm.
If a Mainboard has a TPM Connector WITHOUT an inserted Module, the User needs to get that specific TPM Module and insert it into that connector! That's how things work!
