Okay, I'm confused now (/me moves on to something else while using LTSB 2016 and forgets about the whole thing since it's not a problem for me while at the same time understanding that 1809 is a steaming pile of s**t with all of its "features" that don't interest me at all).

Are you sure the connection bar is behaving correctly for you? After I unpin it and it becomes hidden, I hardly trigger it again even when browsing tabs, if I need it I can only make it appear again on that session by moving the mouse cursor to top-center of the screen and leave it still for at least 2 seconds, to the point I sometimes have trouble bringing it back to quickly disconnect or change the projection mode...

man, unpin is not a solution for me. it pops out every move, if you especially use 1360x768 resolution. and also it's not an aesthetic view. i don't wanna damn bar on top of my screen, who wants that? so only solution is waiting for next update. maybe they fix it. until then 1607 rocks.

It's actually similar to the bar you have when remote administrating (RDP) in full screen. You could actually move that bar, but only to left or right.

How to get that bar :g:? Just tested on my notebook using Win-Key+P but no matter which mode i try there's no such bar. I use a second monitor with the notebook and a 4 monitor setup on my desktop, all are expanded via Settings or nVidia CP (never understood what mirroring is usefull for). Both systems use LTSC.

This bar appears only when connected to wireless displays through Miracast (e.g. casting your screen to a compatible Smart TV or Blu-ray Player)...
