No change to my last post on this. Default Windows 10 Insider license file "tokens.dat" must have a different structure and somehow prevents Office KMS-activation. You must delete tokens.dat file and then activate Windows Insider by key / digital license. This creates a "correct (?)" tokens.dat file which later can be used by KMS to successfully activate Office.
Go to Microsoft and ask them to provide us the fully internal details of their Windows and Office licensing system. Then patching is easily possible .
Oh interesting. But I got lost at> activate Windows Insider by key / digital license Also do you have to do this every time you install a new build?
Once you have a activation by HWID/Digital license and you always use the same Hardware without changes, then there is no need to input the key again. New Windows build should activate itself automatically after installation finishes.
Add, if possible, remembering the last download location with the option to select a new one. On the principle that the script asked to use the last download location and give it if you want to enter a new one. And the ability to save the downloaded image directly to the partition without having to specify a folder
The option to install Office 2019 would be useful from the script creating the installer with the possibility of excluding unwanted components - if this is sorry but I have a ready installer file for each version
Next OfficeRTool version will have an "OfficeRTool.ini" file where download-path will asked to be saved on program Exit (if changed) - and read from on startup. I check, if download of 16.0.xxxxxxxxxx package structures can be safely stored in root \ of partition.
Sorry, but I did not fully get what you mean. If Office 2019 ProPlus is selected, then you already can select which Apps should be in-/excluded. What is missing that you need?
Office 2016 VL, ProPlus x64, activated with MTK 2.6.4.0, latest WinWord/Excel release: 16.0.4690.1000
I'm going to try this out and report back. The only question is how do I find a Windows Insider key. Do I use my retail key?
All versions of Win 10, including the Insider builds, use the same sets of generic keys. There are no 'Insider' keys. Even with Insider builds skip any key prompts. Once a HWID is applied all information is stored at MS servers which detect your system when online.
So right now it's not possible to activate Office on Insider Builds? Even if I do the token method? Just want to confirm.
Iirc @ratzlefatz already tested O16 on Insider builds successfully. My answer was regarding the Windows key confusion.
