Edit: I'm not so sure I converted from Retail from Volume... Might have missed that step, can't check for another 10 hours. Hm, that would still be new. I encountered exactly the same problem today with a freshly set up Win10 (1809, 17763.55), using a Microsoft-Account to login. Office365 in question is 16.0.10827.20181_de-DE_x64_Monthly_Channel. Never before that combination has been a problem, now the activation suddenly fails and Office is in grace period. Two machines that have been running for some months haven't been affected so far, despite being on latest Office365-Versions (~70 days left). "Something" definitely changed.
The problem faced was also on the same setup as above (initially), Office Pro Plus 2019 monthly on a fresh with ONLY Windows 17763.55 then connected to the owner's Microsoft account (the device has a digital license)!! I tried removing (cleaning) Office Pro Plus and installing/activating Pro Plus Insider Fast, to no avail. I performed few hours of testing including installing 3 Windows 10 virtual machines 17134, 17763 and 18252 (without updates) but all went without a problem. Initially, I suspected 17763.55 update, but Office 2019 Pro Plus activates if installed after the update. Hence, I thought I will reinitialize Windows 10 license and try re-activating, which worked. Update: I installed Windows and linked it MS account, then installed Office 2019, converted to VL and activated and all went well !!. P.S. I did not try activating with network disconnected due to the computer being remotely controlled. I remember facing problems with activating Windows if the computer has an active VPN or other sorts of remote connections.
Did I convert to Volume? Did I?! Thinking about it, I'm not so sure I did press C... What would be the consequences - "no instances available"? Can't check right now, unit is remote, but I'm flagging my own post "suspicious". ^^
Guess what. I forgot to convert from Retail to Volume, now it activated perfectly fine. To sum it up: D'oh!
Hello i installed Office 365 personal in my windows 7 computer; and after run word i found a new layout in word home page. This is normal? I have check that i am running the last current build. I have tried find some info on google but nothing. Thanks.
I would like some clarification on Tool usage, can anyone help please? 1. The Tool can download a install package, user choice as to version, and architecture, You must set location for this package? (It can be Drive or drive and folder on drive) 2. Once downloaded, or if you already have a ISO of 2019 office, you can use the tool to install, or just install from a mounted ISO if you have one? 3.You can, or cannot, convert to Volume until a install is taken place? The Command "C" looks for installed versions on the machine you wish to activate Office (2019 or 2016) on, and if there is an un-activated retail version, it will convert to volume? The pathway does not need to be set for Conversion, it locates an installed version, when this option is chosen? (the tool cannot convert a mounted ISO of 2019 OFFICE retail to Volume before it used for AN installation?) 4. Once the the un-activated version is Volume it can then be activated with the OfficeRTool or MTKV2.64?
Hi there, how can we download the latest Office 2016 with OfficeRTool? Which is the latest Build Number for Office 2016? Office 2019 cannot be installed on Windows 7..
You can install Office 2019 on Windows 7 using such a tool: OfficeRTool (https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...install-activation.62571/page-14#post-1125229)
Can someone please help me. I don't know what I am doing and have spent many hours reading through this forum. I have installed office 2016 on Mac. I have the conversion script mentioned above, and when I try to run it in terminal it says permission denied. Can someone please explain in simple terms how I do the conversion now? Thanks in advance
Wrong thread buddy, check here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...ice-for-mac-standard-2016.59676/#post-1002845
I used this and it converted my Office 365 to Mondo. I was just trying to prepare my Visio Pro 2019 installation for MTK Activation. Is there any way to reverse the process and then repeat it but leave my O365 alone?
