I have a question … how can I take text output of installation ID of Microsoft office version 2010 to 2019 (which ever applicable)?
First, I would like to thank you for the neat tool and all the knowledge you guys have shared. I successfully installed Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2016 single apps (ver. 16.0.10730.20280, aka latest) from the semi-annual channel on a fresh Win 10 Pro x64 with the latest updates (I have my reasons for using the SAC). I used the OfficeRTool internal KMS server to activate, and it succeeded, too. I then tried setting the date a year ahead to verify, that the the KMS server actually works as it should and the programs stay activated. Well, they do not, I get the "This copy of Microsoft Office is not activated" -popup when running a program and 0xC004F074 -errors (failed VL activation attempt) in the event log. Is this intended behaviour, and I should manually activate every six months or use some other KMS solution? Or am I missing something obvious? I had Windows Defender running initially, but disabling it and running the activator again yielded the exact same results when advancing system time.
I'm also unfamiliar with those kms servers and if they are only temporary servers. Does the kms-vl-all script available at MDL activate office 365 or only office 2019?
@maxama123 KMS_VL_ALL KMS-VL-ALL Online KMS servers like this will disappear and I´m not surprised if majority of this are based on @Hotbird64 ´s vlmcsd You are better of using a KMS solution from MDL My 2 cents
I just installed the latest Office update (version 1902). The new ribbon is now enabled by default for Office 365 and Mondo installs (no Internet required). However, you still need to connect to the Internet or input registry keys to get other Office 365 features like Word's Line Focus. I have updated my post to mention "additional Office 365 features" instead of "the new ribbon." I have also noted that C2R-R2V will now retain Office 365 grace keys. --- Are you using the latest version of Office 365 (the monthly channel, not semi-annual)? When I installed an older version of Office for testing purposes, I too couldn't find the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ExperimentConfigs registry key. Once I updated Office, this key appeared after I launched the Office apps while connected to the Internet. There's no need to user-add the registry key.
I used this thread to get O365 with the latest version. I assume what you need would be included in the latest release. All features are eventually downloaded and installed as it takes time as it's a Staged release by MS https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-and-activate-office-2016-2019-and-365.78950/
Hi @Revagon, about your previous statement, I would rather say: it is true but it depends from language. In mine (I have an Italian language pack installed) the new simplified ribbon is visible only inside Outlook but not elsewhere: this is also valid for a standard Office subscription (I have checked my wife's Office 365 online suite and she doesn't have any ribbon, yet). Thank you for your precious upgrade, btw
Just as Office 365 - 2016 has Mondo licensing available, is there a way to add Mondo licenses that would support 2013? Or, in other word, is there any VL license option for SKU OfficeO365HomePremR_Grace
Hello, i have a subscrition of office 365 home, one user, installed on Windows 7. Can someone confirm if after January 2020 there will no support for office 365 installed in computers with Windows 7. Thanks. I have found some Information about this, but I am confused about home users, not professional user. Thanks In advanced.
Most of you guys are probably on unlimited data plans and never have to think about download size; unfortunately for some others, like myself, we are compelled to be super cautious because of our meager data allotments. This been the case, is it possible for someone to compress and upload the offline installation files for a standard installation of Office 2019? Something that would be in the 1GB ballpark?
stream .dat are already compressed, no further compressing would make much (or any) difference (only cab files will be reduced a little bit)
