Sure, Bitdefender Free. So, I'm not sure what version of KMS VL ALL I installed with originally. When I tried to fix, I downloaded the newest version.
Thanks. Bitdefender is probably the culprit interfering. KMS_VL_ALL includes exclusion for Windows 10 Defender only, you need to manually add exclusion for SppExtComObjHook.dll in all other AV engines. From latest KMS_VL_ALL-32-beta files are renamed from SppExtComObjHook.dll to Win32.dll and x64.dll and they will at installation/or one-time activation be renamed to SppExtComObjHook.dll. Anyhoo, if you have trouble with adding exclusions than the easiest way is to disable, not partial but completely Bitdefender during reactivation. You probably have to reinstall SppExtComObjHook.dll (autorenewal) (see readme) since this file is likely to have been quarantined. Tip: If you have downloaded KMS_VL_ALL keep the 7z file intact, since this is password protected.
So, Just an update for anyone facing similar issue. 1) I had already tried to disable Bitdefender while activating and had also examined the events/quarantine log. The SppExtComObjHook.dll or any related had not been flagged. 2) Nevertheless, I uninstalled. 3) I then rebooted. I then used KMS VL ALL/Check-Activation-Status.cmd with same result. Not Activated. 4) I then used KMS VL ALL/Activate.cmd it said it was unable to activate and quoted the error noted above. 5) I then used KMS VL ALL/AutoRenewal Setup.cmd It actually told me it was uninstalling the SppExtComObjHook.dll among other actions. 6) I then rebooted again and reconfirmed not activated status. 7) I reapplied KMS VL ALL/AutoRenewal Setup.cmd. 8) I then used KMS VL ALL/Activate.cmd which took. Third time is a charm I guess... 9) Confirmed now activated. Don't know what the problem was or what actually fixed it, but glad it's back to working. Thanks to Sajjo for the help.
Hi ratzlefatz I have found another typo in the script, the Port for the External KMS is wrong (16880) it should be Port: 1688
1688 is KMS standard port. OfficeRTool uses other port intentionally to avoid conflicts with real and other (not so real) KMS solutions.
A new OfficeRTool version (2019/May/25) was released today - Not much done, only corrected some reported typos in OfficeRTool.cmd batch file. No other changes were made, no new features were added. Download-links and checksums in OP were updated.
Yo guys Im trying to set up O365proplus with mondo license and I want to have office 365 updates. So what I understood is that I need to have a grace period activated then convert with c2r r2v (i removed the part where it removed prior licenses) and then i will have office 365 updates. Only problem is, office seems to not give me a grace license period so it doesnt work, what do i do can someone help me please?
Updated C2R-Retail2Volume v10 is supposed to handle it correctly. Directly run it and it should install 0365 Retail key + Mondo license. (To get most possible features with KMS license) In case if it doesn't then download, Office Scrubber Run Uninstall_Keys.cmd and Uninstall_Licenses.cmd then run C2R-R2V, Now it should install the correct license.
Alright so let me get this straight. I download and install O365. Without touching anything, signing into my windows account on word or anything I just go straight to C2R R2V version 10, run it and it does everything for me. Then I kms activate and I should have O365 features with autosave forever and updates?
Also I tried what you said but it does not help. I dont get the o365 features like autosave on my word and it seems like only the mondo license is working, the o365 is replaced with mondo
@Lazarus404 I forgot to mention that, it may require you to open office apps 3-4 times to reflect the 365 features. In case you are not sure which licenses are installed then check the status with KMS_VL_ALL -- As I've mentioned, if you are not getting those features then Run Uninstall_Keys.cmd and Uninstall_Licenses.cmd from scrubber, and then try C2R-R2V -- In my tests, it works for me. Edit- BTW make sure to use KMS_VL_ALL to activate, (It's possible that other activators may change keys, license in the activation, e.g @Ratiborus tools usually do that)
I could never get the older version of OfficeRTool to activate but now since this change, it activates and works perfectly. Could the wrong Port prevented the activation when you compare old OfficeRTool vs the newer? Excellent work regardless.
I did everything you said but something strange happends. When I restart my pc and open up an office document it shows me the latest UI and all, but when I close it down and reopen it reverts to old UI even if it hasn't updated or done anything since.
I integrated the $OEM$ folder on my Windows 10 installer from here and it automatically activates both Windows 10 and Office 365 ProPlus. I think I have to manually update Office 365 ProPlus by going to Product Information, Update Options, Update Now.
It is quite right, but you have missed a little step. See here: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/how-to-support-chat-office-c2r-download-install-activation.62571/page-168#post-1522928 ---- EDIT ----- Sorry, my note is totally obsolete. I have tried C2R-R2V_10.7z few minutes ago and it works like a charm
Important Info regarding latest OfficeRTool-version: User @Simple07 informed me that OfficeDeploymentTool file "setup.exe" used by OfficeRTool contains some differences compared to original "setup.exe" in ODT package.
