@tristan babs : Seems Antivirus- and/or Firewall-security-software is blocking download. Temporarily disable Antivirus and Firewall security software and check download again. Later create exceptions in AV for OfficeRTool.
Office Scrubber v5 - Added Reset_Licenses.cmd script, which clean Office licenses, and then reinstall original licenses (per detected products) you can use this in case Office repair failed to restore original licenses, or to remove C2R-R2V Volume licenses and restore original Retail licenses suggested by @sebus - Renamed Uninstall_Licenses.cmd to Remove_Licenses.cmd - few code enhancements
Using OfficeRTool, I have installed Office 2019. If I want to install Office 365 instead, do I need to first properly desinstall Office 2019? Or can I just run OfficeRTool with the proper options?
Best practice: Always remove already existing Office before installing different/new version. This eliminates unwanted side-effects. Use OfficeScrubber from abbodi1406 for a clean removal.
Hello! I'm on a fresh instalation of Windows 10 x64, using WOTOK v2019.06.12.01 x64, and always I get this error: -------- MainMenu (Enter) or Install (1) Choice: 1 Copying installer, please wait... @JeZMaN Could you try latest first and report back result - translated to english? (wotok_mdl_v2019.11.28.01.7z) https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...nstall-activation.62571/page-103#post-1414279
Hello again, I get same error: --- Copying installer, please wait ... Installing Office, wait ... "" C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ Microsoft Shared \ ClickToRun \ OfficeClickToRun.exe "" is not recognized as an internal or external command, program or executable batch file. Installed office ---- But no OfficeClickToRun.exe file created.
Wotok cmd/autoit online/offline should still work. Possible reasons why it doesn't work: a) (Sajjo) "version.16=+" = Version not loaded. Loading a version of cmd depends on the powershell Invoke-WebRequest, and it probably doesn't work unless IE has been started at least once. b) If a new installation is performed, it is better to uninstall the previous version, including OfficeClickToRun.exe (c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft shared\ClickToRun\). Without uninstalling it can only work in ideal cases. c) If Office offline files are downloaded with an earlier version, the installation will not work offline or with a newer version because the cat files are missing. You need to download offline Office files including cat files.
Used this tool for the first time and was absolutely blown away. This thing works so well. P.S. - I'm on a 8.1 Pro machine. Can I install office 2019 by this tool as well?
If you talk about OfficeRTool, then YES you can install Office 2019 on Windows 8.1. But you must consider 2 things: 1.) Before installing a new Office version you must completely uninstall prior version. Use OfficeScrubber from abbodi1406 to do this. 2.) Microsoft clearly said, Office 2019/Office 365 is not supported on Win7/8.x. So even if it works in the first time, it may stop working after a later update. Up to now it IS working
I want to install MS 2019 but downloaded via Office 2013-2019 C2R Install by Ratiborus so I've got 2 questions wanna ask: 1. The Download option usually download Retail installer, but when activing via Office C2R Install, do I need to convert Office from Retail to VL edition? 2. And if I need, will Office still update normally in app like Retail edition does? Thanks in advance!
